  • Application of Lower Triangular Toeplitz Matrix and its Inverse for Solving Volterra Integral Equations
    Dr. E. Babolian Page 1
In this paper, we study a method to obtain a bound on the infinity norm of A^(-1), where A is a lower triangular Toeplitz matrix with nonnegative elements. We give some theoretical results on the behavior of the resolvent kernel and the fundamental matrix of the recurrence relation. We also give some numerical examples to illustrate the method. keywords: Toeplitz matrix, resolvent kernel, fundamental matrix, Volterra integral equation
  • Application of Discriminant Analysis on Interval Data for Predicting of Conditional Students
    Mr. G.R. Jahanshahloo Page 2
This paper is used the method Discriminant Analysis (DA), with Interval Data for Predicting of Conditional Students. DEA-Discriminant Analysis (DEA-DA) that is designed to identify the existence or non-existence of an overlap between two groups, with the use of a separating hyperplane. It then predicts to which group a new observation would belong.

  • Revenue efficiency and revenue malmquist productivity index with interval data
    Mr. G. R. Jahanshahloo Page 4
In this paper Malmquist productivity index(MPI) for decision making unit(DMU) with interval data has been evaluated.A method for assessing Malmquist productivity index using revenue efficiency also has been developed. The applicability of the methods developed is in the context of the analysis of bank branch performance.
  • bounded linear operators in fuzzy normed spaces
    Mr. S.B. Hosseini Page 5
In this paper, we define fuzzy boundedness for linear operators and so we prove that every finite dimensional fuzzy normed space is complete.
  • A hermenutical path to philosophy of mathematics
    Mr. S.H. Sajadi Page 6
In this paper, the main aim is, a hermenutical explanation about mathematics.Using the universality of hermenutical experience, that proposed and articulated by H.G.Gadamer,we try to answer some basic questions in philosophy of mathematics.
